    What you should know about the role

    As a Corporate Real Estate Specialist, you will take a lead role in managing risk for our physical assets. While building and strengthening relationships you will serve as the main point of contact for building security, business continuity, crisis management, and property insurance, you will work directly with all departments to ensure buildings are secure and safe. In addition to property risk duties, this role will drive progress through the coordination of building leases for credit union use as well as future tenant leasing. Role to provide administrative support in the sale and purchase of credit union properties.

    As a Corporate Real Estate Specialist, you will have opportunities to:

    • Self-manage your day to day work schedule.
    • Build strong relationships throughout all levels of the organization including executive-level.

    Major Duties

    • Provide administrative support for all real estate purchases and sales.
    • Process & track all property related insurance claims. Work with IT and site leadership to pull necessary information to provide to insurance company to properly insure and process claims.
    • Manage credit union building leases where Advia is the tenant as well as future leases with tenants in existing Advia facilities.
    • Facilitate business continuity testing and crisis management. Conduct regular testing and tracking of all business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
    • Act as the main point of contact for physical security on all credit union locations. Coordinate all security initiatives with security vendor and internal departments.
    • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

    Physical Requirements

    Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. While
    performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or
    feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and
    reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel,
    crouch, or crawl.Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely


    Working Conditions

    Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise, as well as outside in various degrees of heat and cold.

    Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

    Skills & Experience

    Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

    A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.

    A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
